What you will learn and contribute to Are you passionate about solving problems?As part of our team, you will: Independently optimize networks with all components based on traffic trends and customer forecasts Understand customer’s network performance and supports optimization activities to tune the RF network for better performance/quality and capacity utilization KPI monitoring at project / regional level and periodical study to improve customer’s network performance. Analyze KPI / counters and performance statistics to identify issues, solve complex problems to guarantee the contractual KPIs targets. Study and propose proactive measures to prevent performance degradations and customer complaints. Cover tasks such as performance audits, quality and capacity optimization, parameter planning, network feature testing and introduction in the network, network statistics analysis, troubleshooting and performance/capacity management. Independently develop RF optimization plans/solutions, features and field tests (e.g. drive tests, indoor measurements, lab testing before rollout) Prioritize RF optimization activities to address most critical ones based on customer, end user and Nokia business impact. Your skills and experience You have (technical competencies): Strong 5G Radio optimization experience (18 months+) with Nokia RAN solution and Experience with 4G RAN Nokia. Knowledge of Nokia AirSscale and Flexi-BTS solutions 2g/4G/5G Experience on 2G/4G swap projects and 5G rollout projects and be able to lead remote teams to ensure that the KPI performance of a given geographic location is met. Strong knowledge of Nokia 4G and 5G parameters and counters is a must, also be able to define and analyse pre and post swap KPI counter-performance of a group of sites in a swap or rollout area, ensuring the performance is optimized to allow the area to be transferred to operations post swap. Knowledge of RF optimization (antenna optimization), RF planning/optimization tools and drive test post-processing tools. Familiarity with NetAct, EdenNet, XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, ACTIX, CellSens Knowledge of multivendor optimization (for example Huawei to Nokia) and comparison of KPIs from counters between the two vendors Strong customer-facing skills and consultancy, strong team leadership skills, ability to set up and lead multi-national cross-functional virtual teams and strong communications skills, ability to interface with customer technical staff and customer project director level Ideally 10 years + of experience in the mobile telecommunications industry BSc degree in Telecommunications or relevant departments At least 5 years of experience in 2G/3G/4G RF network planning and optimization activates In-depth knowledge and expertise in Nokia 2G/3G/4G parameters, counters, KPIs and features Ability to lead all activities for the maintenance and improvement of network KPI's In-depth troubleshooting capability for analysis of network statistics, KPIs and drive test logs Long term technical career objective in NPO domain Required Soft Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English, however a combination of English and German is preferred Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to interface with customers and end-users (VIP / Business customers) Decision-making capabilities Flexibility to travel abroad Good interpersonal and presentation skills Good team player Self-motivated What we offer Nokia offers flexible and hybrid working schemes, continuous learning opportunities, well-being programs to support you mentally and physically, opportunities to join and get supported by employee resource groups, mentoring programs and highly diverse teams with an inclusive culture where people thrive and are empowered.
