IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Support the European sales organization in commercial customer negotiations
  • Gather intelligence and develop deep understanding of Emerson and customer practices, interests and strategies and ensure learning through building and deployment of outstanding practices
  • Lead commercial discussions and seize learning opportunities in the process
  • Support development of new Delegation of Authorities (DOAs) and pricing strategies together with Frame Agreements Manager
  • Actively and closely collaborate and align actions with Finance, Legal and Sales teams such as Global Strategic Account Managers, Industry Directors and Country Sales Directors
  • Develop and deliver training programs across the organization
  • Travel as needed to meet key customers

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • University degree in Legal, Commercial, Business, Procurement or similar field
  • Several years of relevant procurement or negotiating experience (e.g. procurement of large / long term capital projects, T&C / frame agreement discussions)
  • Proven track record of delivering results across a multi-country, matrix industrial automation environment
  • Proficient in English language
  • Travel up to 30% (Europe)
