SIX is seeking for a talented data modeler to assist with the design and implementation of the company’s business intelligence platform. The data modeler will have to work closely with the business owner and the implementation team. You will insure the integrity and the reliability of the entire model from the enterprise information management. The successful candidate must have deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts, an understanding of financial concepts is an asset. Together with the business analyst you will design models to reduce redundancy and create an easy to use data environment. The data modeler should have knowledge of quality processes, process streamlining, governance/glossary concepts and reporting tools. What You Will Doreview/evaluate/modify/optimize the existing models and propose a metadata repositorypropose best practices and standards for modeling and a long term solution data modelwork with the development team and business to create the data models, the data flow (optional), to migrate some existing models and deliver the data sampleswork with the Business team to control/check that the requirements is on phase with the existing model and data systemcontribute in data strategies (quality issues, variances, discrepancies, process issues, rejects, historical data, efficiency) and develop the required physical data models What You Bringexperiences with physical and relational data modeling/dimensional modeling, DWH/Data Mart concepts including star and snowflake schemas. Practice the data Profiling and understand the metadata management concepts (knowledge of MDM is a plus) with related toolsknowledge of ER (entity-relation) modeling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data modelsknowledge with data modeling software such as SAP PowerDesigner, Erwin Data Modeler, EA and reporting tools such as PowerBInotions with Data Engineering in Azure Cloud environment (Databricks, Data Factory, etc.) is a plusgood analytical and problem/troubleshooting-solving skills, willingness to work with individuals from different locations and cultures, strong attention to detail.
