Job Description:
Join our remote team and get involved in the backend or full-stack development of web applications. We have a variety of projects, containing elements of computer vision, optimization techniques, big data, machine learning, cloud computing services, as well as some more basic web applications. We will try to assign you to a project that fits your interests. We are currently looking for regular and senior developers to extend our team.
Ongoing project examples:
- Web application for 3d visualization of store spaces using a game engine and Pixel Streaming.
- State-of-the-art web application that automates filling the store’s shelves with products.
- Web application for processing images (backend uses a variety of Computer Vision solutions) for assessment of new product designs.
- AI-based tool, limiting risks and the negative impact of bots and disinformation spreading.

Duties:
- Backend or full-stack development of web applications
- Code reviewing
- Cooperation with the frontend team
- If interested, helping with cloud computing services and dev-ops configurations
- If interested, taking a role of a project technical lead (under mentor supervision)
Must-haves:
- 3+ years of experience in full stack development with one of the web frameworks based on PHP (preferably Laravel or Symfony)
- Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Strong communication and self-organization skills
- Good knowledge of the concepts of web applications and web services
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Google Cloud environment
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend development concepts
- Experience with creating automated tests
- Experience with technical leadership over a project or its part
