Role description: Architecture design of the Company Monitoring and Alarming system. Role accountabilities: Architecture design of the Company Monitoring and Alarming system, including; Alarming design, including threshold based alarming, alarm correlation. Auto-healing, auto-scaling, incident management configuration management design. Metrics/KPIs and Logs processing, SIEM integration. Monitoring and alarming data analytics and BI design. Utilising following technologies in design: Kafka, Fluentd, ELK stack, TSDB, Grafana, Prometheus. Creating PoCs. SW Architect is involved with multiple IT service management processes: Incident Management - solving incidents. Problem Management - root cause analysis. Change Management - participates with CAB (Change Advisory Board). Release Management - involved in release management. Configuration Management - keeping configurational data up-to-date. Team leading and assisting SW developers on implementation and testing issues. Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years minimum SW development experience with minimum 2 years of SW architect experience in the scope of Monitoring. Experience in designing complex monitoring solution is desirable (e.g. multi-domain, multi-hub, multi-cloud). Kafka, SNMP, Syslog experience is mandatory. Programming experience in Java or C/C++. Desirable Technology experience: Fluentd, ELK stack, TSDB, Grafana, Prometheus. CICD, Automation, Terraform. Cloud proficiency (MS Azure, GCP, AWS, OpenStack and/or VMware). Git, Fluentd, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred. Why Become an Arcadian?
