Financial Controller - R&D Timisoara
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller for our R&D location in Timisoara. The role involves providing professional financial and economic analysis, as well as consulting location/BU/headquarter management to support operational decision making in accordance with Group Rules and Guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing and analyzing monthly closing, providing useful data and suggestions for management decisions
- Contributing to the preparation and analysis of standard and special financial reports for location/BU/VT management
- Assisting in the development of standard and special financial reports
- Preparing presentations of financial figures for location/BU/VT management
- Controlling and monitoring working hours, preparing special reports, and providing solutions for management to achieve BU's productivity and turnover targets
- Controlling headcount, investments, costs, sales, and manufacturing KPIs to reach BU's targets
- Contributing proposals for optimization measures (costs, processes)
- Collecting and providing input data for budget and forecasts
- Assisting in planning and organizing the budget and forecast process within BU/locations
- Providing financial trainings for technical employees
- Contributing to the implementation of new global/local tools, methods, and projects to comply with group rules and reporting guidelines
Preferred Abilities:

- Clear and open communication and strong networking skills
- Good understanding of controlling and finance reporting
Qualifications:
- University or Master Degree in Finance/Economics/Economical Engineering
- At least two years of work experience within Finance/Controlling
- Knowledge in SAP-BW (Business Warehouse) is a plus
- MS Office Package knowledge (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, KNIME, PowerBI)
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
