Materials & Technologies Engineer

Responsibilities:
- IMDS data management:
- Request, tracking, update of data, clarify open items
- Checking incoming material data sheets from suppliers according to legal requirements, IMDS rules and different ISO standard
- Create own IMDS material data sheets
- Handle customer rejections
- Perform SAP tasks as maintenance user for medium / high complexity projects:
- Perform projects support tasks (specific reports, collecting project data, prototypes build support etc.), based on request
- Provide support for all roles involved in material reporting process within Vitesco Technologies worldwide
- Communicate with suppliers and customer worldwide regarding the release of IMDS material data sheets
- Conduct regular trainings worldwide for the implementation of material data reporting at Vitesco Technologies
- Provide consultancy to internal and external customers regarding legal requirements in the field of Material Compliance
- Provide consultancy to internal and external customers regarding specific customer requirements in the field of Material Compliance
Requirements:
- University degree in Chemistry, Material sciences or Environmental engineering or finished professional training in this filed
- Preferably practical knowledge of material compliance reporting (IMDS)
- Preferably knowledge of SCIP database
- Proficiency in SAP & MS Office
